Parade Pictures

IMG_ 034 I’ve posted some pictures from the parade – just follow the ‘Photos’ link above. If you have any other shots, just send them to me. For that matter, if you have any pictures from any prior Haunted Forest (digital or ‘old fashioned’), please let me know. I’d like to get them on line as well.

Hey volunteers! The show is over, we’re almost completely cleaned up, and once we’ve all had a chance to catch up on… um, what’s that word again? sl… slee… sleep! Once we’ve caught up on sleep it’ll be time to celebrate! Join us for the Post-Mortem Party:

When: 7pm December 4th, 2009

Where: The Federated Church in Williston (corner of N. Williston Rd and Rte 2)

Everyone who helped with the show is welcome, please RSVP by November 30th to Krissy – 238-0923, krissy@thehauntedforest.org

Thank You and Clean Up!

WOW! What a year! The Haunted Forest was a huge success thanks to all the amazing volunteers who came out to help and the guests who braved the rain, muddy trails, and unknown darkness. Thank you all for being part of the magic!

BUT WAIT! The fun isn’t over just yet! Join us at Catamount Family Center over this week to help de-spook-ify Catamount’s trails! Everything must be packed away and we could use your help!

Call Krissy if you have a couple hours to give (and bring your cordless drills too!), any help is greatly appreciated – 238-0923

Thanks again, The Haunted Forest would not be the same event it is today without the continued support of our community.

Another Haunted love story

Three years ago, Donna and Neil went pumpkin carving at the haunted forest for their first date. Neil carved this for Donna:

 Lovelantern

It must have worked, because they married this past June! Here they are at this year’s pumpkin carving:

It’s never too late to get involved!

The Haunted Forest is STILL looking for help, we are seeking volunteers for this weekend’s Matinee and Evening performances! There are some short, fun acting roles, we need lots and lots of guides and we even need a dance scene on Halloween night (it’s short, only two and a half minutes long). If you or anyone you know is available, please consider helping us on Halloween! Please get in touch with Krissy Freeman, 238-0923 as soon as possible!
