Registration on the website is used to provide us a mailing address, and a means of communicating with you regarding your order. If you don't have an account on this website, one will be created automatically from the shipping address and email provided to PayPal during checkout. An email will be sent to you with a password so that you can log into this website.
Your information is not shared with any third party for spamming or any other purposes. Its purpose is so that we can send you the tickets, and can contact you in case of problems or disputes. We may also contact you in the future about The Haunted Forest.
We plan on sending out around six emails in the fall, and possibly a few more throughout the year for other forest related events such as the Movie Premier fundraiser or the Williston Forth of July parade. Each message contains a link that you can use if you'd like to opt out of future emails. This email list is maintained by us, not a third party, and we don't give emails to any third party. Opting out only tells us to stop sending. Note that the mechanism we use for most of these emails is separate from your account on this website, so subscribing or unsubscribing through your account login has no effect - you'll need to opt-out via the links on the messages or go to http://www.thehauntedforest.org/mailer and enter your email.
This website, TheHauntedForest, and FunForChange collect no personal financial information. When you purchase, you’ll notice that you’re redirected to a paypal website. Paypal handles the financial transaction, then they send us the money. We never see your credit card or paypal login information.
